Waste of Space. *EDIT*

Okay…Let’s see…Both Critters went to school and stayed there all day. Yay! *laughs* Mum stayed home from work…Which tells you she was really feeling like crap, as she hardly ever stays home, even when sick. She’s either got bronchitis again, or pneumonia. Joy. Another round of antibiotics.

I’m on day two without coffee. I’m actually not doing too bad. I’ve had Ginseng tea the past two mornings…I bought some other kind of tea this afternoon that’s suppose to be good for in the morning. I’ll be trying it out tomorrow.

I’ve got essays written for roleplay. Yay me! *laughs* Just have to put thoughts into them for the next day afterwards. One History of Magic, and one Herbology. I still have notes for Care for Magical Creatures, and partial notes for Potions…Plus 2 out of the 5 runes for the third Ancient Runes essay [Which I just can’t seem to give thoughts to]. Oh yeah…And that Muggle Studies essay that I have an actual due date for. Muggle Studies…*shudders* *pokes at new professor* Poor guy, we finally give him a name, and he goes and gets himself killed off and replaced by pure evil.

Talking to Raya Tuesday night, I got to thinking about how many of us in the ‘Potterverse’ have parental issues…Meaning we are at least missing one parent (seemingly our Mothers being the popular choice here), or both parents.

There is well, of course, the obvious…

Harry Potter: His mother & father being killed by Voldemort.

[Which serves to remind us…Tommy didn’t have either one of his parent’s either (Which is why, to some extent, the rest of us are suffering too). His father abandoning his mother, and his mother dying in childbirth.]

Neville Longbottom: Who, although his parent’s are still alive, can not function in the parental role, due to Bellatrix (& Rodolphus) Lestrange. [Which is pretty much Volde’s fault.]

Luna Lovegood: She’s missing her mother. [Amazingly, we can’t blame this one on Tommy.]

Hagrid…Whose mother left him and his father. Then his father died while he was still in school.

And of course the roleplayers…

Raya Lestrange: Granted, both of her parent’s are alive, BUT…For most of her life, she thought her father dead, only to find out who she thought was her father, wasn’t. Still, she didn’t have the pleasure of either parent long term (not that Bella would be a pleasure), as they both spent the majority of her childhood in Azkaban.

Ashton Black: He’s got his father…But Gods, who wants him? Plus, it’s his father’s fault his mother is dead…Having tried to kill both of them prior to Ashton’s birth.

Raven Pegasus: Her mother died in childbirth, and her father prior to her being born…The information I have reads he ‘died’…No explanation…But I’m thinking it was more like ‘he was murdered’…And I’d wager a guess that Death Eaters were involved.

 *EDIT* For the absentee parents…Those who are just too overwhelmed, or too busy to care…

Damian and Vanora Phoena: As Obelix is a bloody prat, and can’t be bothered to take a real part in his children’s life…Unless of course, it’s to make them miserble.

Nina and Miriam Perry: Whose mother has pretty much been chased off by the insanity of the family. *shakes head* Gods…that Grandmotehr of theirs is a piece of work.

Well…I pretty much have nothing else…I so need a life. *laughs* [Did see tonight, on NMCs website, that Fridays have dances listed every week. Though…I’m not sure I’d get to go to even one…I don’t know…Maybe.]
