A new name, for a new me [???]

Ivory: Hard white opaque substance that is the bulk of the teeth and tusks of animals such as elephants, hippopotamus, walrus, mammoth, narwhal, etc.
The word is ultimately from Ancient Egyptian for ‘elephant’.
[One really doesn’t find much more than that on Ivory…Though true ivory is usually considered coming from elephants and mammoths, making it quite rare…And as it is beautiful, I would say that makes it a ‘Rare Beauty’.]

Obsidian: Rock which is a type of naturally occurring glass produced by volcanoes, when the lava cools so fast that the minerals contained within didn’t have time to form.
It is a naturally occurring glass.
Obsidian has a hardness of 6 or 7, it will scratch glass. It is used now for surgical blades, as it is 5x sharper that surgical steel scalpels. In the Stone Age it was used to make sharp blades and arrowheads. Even creating a sword called a macuahuitl, which had an obsidian blade and wooden handle, it inflicted terrible energies.
Element: Fire
Powers: Protection, Grounding, Divination, Peace. Also the inner Mysteries of the Goddess (including subconscious self).

Lygophilia: A desire to be in dark or gloomy places. (noun) The love of darkness.

The weather sucks…It’s too cold, too snowy, too etc. to go outside. I have no running vehicle. [Mum’s car is here, but the roads are too bad to risk it just for the sake of going.]
