Black’s Heir/To Keep it or not to keep it
Per usual, when attempting to have a cival conversation, Raven and Sirius failed, as it inevitably led to Snape. "You almost got Severus killed." She spat, referring to the prank Sirius had pulled on Severus during school.
"But I didn’t." Sirius replied, rolling his eyes.
Raven scowled "Because of James, nothing of your own doing. You shouldn’t of picked on Severus like you did."
"He bloody well deserved it."
"Why?" She questioned. "Because he was diffrent? Because he was a Slytherin?"
The man before her shrugged. "Sure, why not?"
"Ever think maybe you drove him to where he went? Kind of like with Peter?" Raven bit back.
It was Sirius’s turn to frown at the mention of Peter. "Peter? Peter betrayed James and Lily."
"Think maybe if you’d acted like you really cared for once, things would of turned out diffrently?"
Sirius threw his arms up in the air, pacing the room. "What does it matter?"
"What does it matter?" Raven stood up from her spot on the sofa. "Uncle Remus is right. You can’t take responsibility for anything, can you?"
Sirius turned back to face her. "Responsibility? I take responsibility for plenty."
"There’s a diffrence between responsibility and credit." Raven hissed at him. "You childish, immature, arogant prat!"
The man took two steps twords her, closing the distance between them, so they were less than a foot apart. "It’s better than being a whiny, manipulative, high-strung harpy."
"Manipulative? High-Strung? You’re one to bloody talk!" Raven snapped back.
Sirius held up his hands like he wanted to take hold of the sides of her head, and possibly attempt to pull it from her shoulders. "God woman, what the bloody hell is wrong with you?"
"I’m pregnant!" Raven screetched, before bursting out into tears, and dropping back down on the sofa, buring her face in her hands. "I’m bloody well pregnant, and as my doomed and cursed luck would have it," a sigh escaped the crying girl, "it’s bloody well yours."
Sirius stood stock still, mouth agape as he processed the information that he just recieved from Raven. "You and me…A…" He blinked a couple times, paced back and forth a couple steps, stopped, and regaurded the girl once more. "A…a baby?"
Frowning Raven looked up at Sirius. "Yes," she replied simply.
"I’m going to be a father."
Raven rolled her eyes, "yes, that’s what I said." Getting annoyed by this point.
Sirius’s bark-like laugh filled the room, "I’m going to be a father!" He hopped around a bit, "I’m going to be a father!"
"I bloody well hate you." Raven frowned, crossing her arms over her chest as she leaned back on the sofa.
"Moony!" Sirius cried out.
Raven stood up quickly from the sofa, grabbing hold of the man by the arm. "What the bloody hell do you think you’re doing?"
"I’m going to tell my best mate the good news." Sirius said with all confidence.
"Good news? Good news?" Raven blinked at him unbelievingly. "What the bloody hell are you talking about, this isn’t good news, this is a bleedin’ nightmare!" Sirius frowned slightly looking down at her. She returned his frown with one of her own. "Just…don’t tell him. Not yet, please?" Raven’s eyes pleaded with him. "I need some more time…I need to think."
Concern shown in the grey eyes that looked down at the obviously upset girl. "Okay doll." Sirius replied. "But this isn’t the kind of thing you can keep quiet indefinatly…"
"I know, I know…" Raven sighed. ~What the bloody hell am I going to do?~

The silver apothocary sat on Raven’s desk, opened, it’s contents spilled all over. The girl frantically searched through potion after potion, ingredient after ingredient. "One bloody mistake after another," she muttered, knocking some items to the floor in her haste. Tears started to slide down her cheeks, as her worry and panic surged within her. "I can’t do this, I can’t handle this…He’ll never forgive me…Should of never told him…He won’t want me to do this, will he? Of course not, you seen how bloody excited he was." Raven shook her head. "Doesn’t matter, can’t not." Finding her search becoming less and less fruitful, she dropped down into the chair, resting her head on her arms, and started sobbing.
The door opened and closed, Raven paid it no attention. "Miss Mai?" Raya’s concerned tones reached her ears, seeing the state of her sister, and her usually carefully stored potion ingredients scattered all over the room. "Is there something wrong?"
"Everything is wrong, so very wrong." Raven sat up, and turned to look at her sister, her eyes red and puffy from crying. "I’ve messed up my life but good." She shook her head slightly. "I don’t know what to do Miss Jacy. I can’t handle this. And Severus…" A deep sigh escaped her, "Severus will never forgive me. I’ll lose him forever." The young woman frowned, tears sliding down her cheeks once more. "Not that I really have him anymore…but we were at least talking…and now…" Raven turned away once more, another sigh wracking her body.
"Miss Mai, Raven, what’s happened now?" Raya’s hand rested on her shoulder, trying to comfort the girl, and get her to tell her what was wrong.
Biting her lip, she turned around again to look up at her sister, her blue eyes still glistening with tears. "I love Caden, I do, I really do." Raven began. "She’s a wonderful girl, and I’m glad you had her…"
"Raven?" Her sister blinked down at her.
"I don’t think I can do it. I can’t handle it. I’m just not ready for this." Fear of the unknown, and worry of the little known, shown in the younger witches eyes, and she shook her head slightly once more. "Can’t…and Severus…Severus will never forgive me." Raven’s arms wrapped around herself, over the lower part of her stomach. "I don’t know what to do." Raven blinked up at her sister. "I’m so scared."
[Of course, we all know she keeps the baby…Who will be born June 13th (a year from Dumbledore’s ‘death’…He will be name Orion Ambrose Black, after both Raven and Sirius’s fathers. He will have black hair, and grey eyes, and when the time comes, he’ll be able to speak Parseltongue. As for Animagus status…That one is still up in the air.]
I’ll have to catch up on this when I have some free time. I think you left a note from Raven’s diary, but I shall ryn here: Yeah, it sounds like a much darker turn, but I think it will be exciting to read. I hope it gives you all a wealth of things to work with. *kicks Bella really, really hard* Egads! Why?? Why?????? *lol*
