Home visit….and worry. *EDIT*

Making this quick…

Harley had his home visit today…He did really good, impressed his teacher and her helper. They brought him a project to do that involved cutting, colors, and numbers. His cutting is shakey, but that’s because he’s never really tried to cut much before (other than the tops off icepops, and opening other such packages). He knew his colors and numbers no problem though.  They left him a sheet for homework to take to school Monday, which will be his first day.
He also surprised them with his computer skills…and the fact that he can type his name on the computer. He brought up wordpad all by himself even to do it in.

I wish tonight was going as well as this morning…

After picking up Sonja we came back home…Harley was feeling tired, not surprising as he was awake before 7 again this morning. Well I curled up with him and we took a nap. I woke up about 6, and that’s when I realized Harley felt pretty much like you could fry an egg on him. *sigh* He had a fever of 104.5!  Two hours, and 3 Children’s Tylenol Melt-a-ways later…It’s down to 102.5.  He’s been sleeping most of the time…though when he’s not he’s doing a lot of crying. He says everything aches.

But I’m going to leave it here for now, as he’s waiting for me to curl up on the couch with him.

Needless to say…I don’t think I’ll be getting to writing rpg tonight.

Thankfully, Harley is feeling much better…He’s dropped down to 99.5  And he’s talking a mile a minute, and running around again…That boy sure bounces back…Though I’ll still be keeping an eye on him through the night, as he’s done this to me before. He’ll get fever, have it go down, only to have it pop back up on him again.
