What I’ve been up to.

Let’s see…

Saturday…Fair was rained out…May or may not check it out today…Depends on if the weather holds.  *tries to remeber what we did do*  Went to Wal-mart….Ooo…the excitemen. *laughs*

Sunday (Yesterday)  boat ride on the tall ship Manitu!  *runs around all excited* It was great, I really did enjoy the trip.
We (as in those who were riding as passengers) had to (got too-as some lazy arses opted out) raise the sails!! It was…wonderful! *grins* Yes, it was a bit of work…but it was great!  I would gladly go again. (Hear that Raya?)
*swats Grimmie* I had planned to pay for the trip…as it was the most expensive of the three times they go out in the day…and I was just going to pay for it in general…but the prat wouldn’t let me.
We got to walk around on deck…some people got to steer, but I didn’t manage to get up there…just wandering around, and sitting watching the water…and they fed us a ‘picnic lunch’ (Turkey and swiss on a roll of some sorts, some pasta stuff, and an oatmeal raisin cookie…which we brough the cookies home for the children).
We got to go down and check out the Galley…It had a little wood burning stove where they do the cooking. And a counter area, and some tables to sit at….but I think just about everyone ate up on deck.
There are two passenger compartment areas for those who take the longer sails and stay on ship (or do the bed & breakfast thing). The bunks are two to a room…some of the rooms are quite small, barely giving one room to turn around in…some are a bit bigger, but not much. The one passenger side had a little table in it. Sat down there for a little while…and just kind of wandered around below deck a bit. [The crews rooms are off the Galley.]
I would so love to do one the Windjammer sails…3 or 4 days sailing and going to the islands in the area.

It hasn’t been so bad having Grimmie around. I’ve gotten out of the house…I’ve gotten to do things. I’m not just sitting on my arse all day at home.  You know, like life if I had friends in the area, and not hundreds of miles away.

*pokes at brain* I’m still not sure about that thing…It tends to allow me to do things I shouldn’t do. Isn’t it suppose to keep you from doing such? Perhaps I suffer from a lack of common sense…I thought I had some…I don’t know. *chews on bottom lip in thought*  Part of me mentally feels so much like Raven currently. Well…not her currently…Currently I feel like her a bit back. *looks at sentence* Does that need a roadmap? *sigh* Braindamage…*nods* Yeps, that’s it, I have braindamage.

Well…I suppose I should get going for the moment.  Maybe I’ll attempt to take the kids for a walk in the woods later…Mum asked the other day if I’d taken Grimmie back to see the river…we’d gone as far as the powerline to look down at it…but not any further…I hate taking the kids out back alone, as they have those not listening moments…and Harley likes to wander…and Sonja likes to really wander. *laughs*

Tomarrow is Tuesday…So I should be back to normal with updating and noting and what not tomarrow evening. I got things I need to write for roleplay pre-start of term.

I’m glad you enjoyed your little trip – it did sound nice. When it starts cooling off some here I want to take Tyler and the dogs out to the state park to walk the trails.. but right now it’s to hot to do anything.

I know but I feel bad doing it because I keep getting angry at John when he looks at other women for extended periods of time. Aurgh *hits self*

WOOT! for sailing! 🙂 Sounds like an awesome adventure! I’d pretend I was on the black pearl! and then I’d look for johnny depp! HAHA! Those rooms can be small! WAY too small for someone who doesn’t like TINY spaces! haha but I suppose it’s great for when the ship is tilting and you can’t go ‘whoosing’ around the room b/c you are wedged in! lol

yaaaay for sailing, glad you had fun with Grimmie, see you do have a social life! Still, the brain is a strange contraption, never does what I say! *shruggs* Wooo for Wal*Mart, I swear its taking over the world one supermarket at a time, it may be more powerful than Starbucks one day… *cringes* xoxo

Glad you’re having fun! Hope you find something good to do today. Like, were you able to go to the fair? I’m getting well adjusted, methinks. Still, it’s…different. *sighs* *falls over* I think this is all the note you’re going to get from me. I’m not used to using my brain as I did today! *laughs* *hugs*

Although boats frighten me into convulsions of tears…your trip sounded very exciting! I’m glad you had a good time.

The boat sounds great. I’d love to get on another boat. Ofcourse mine was a fishing boat for deep sea fishing.
