Swimming swimming…

Tuesday:
Walking was cancelled due to extreme heat.

I did some actual, true to life, real swimming. Not just standing in the water up to my knees, or sitting on the shore. I got into the water, and actually swam! And it was bloody wonderful! We checked out Sand Lake…though we were wondering if we were going to find the side we were looking for…as there are loggers in there tearing the place up. *sigh* But we did find it, and it was great!  Well, for me…not so much for the Critters…It has deeper water than where we’ve been going….but it drops off way to quick in places for them. I found myself out a bit further than I had inteneded a couple times. Eeps! There was a log sticking up out of the water, a bit over my head, with a turtle sitting on it…later he had another turtle with him, but it disappeared again quickly. Plus…fresh blueberries! Not nearly enough, but they were still sooooooooo good. *laughs*
Sand Lake is a little inland lake. You could walk around it easily enough…maybe an hour, hour and a half…*shrugs* The beach is white sand in most places…there is a strech where we were that was a bit more rocky, but not badly so. Still…the water was warm, even the colder water where it dropped off wasn’t too bad…though the coolness of it was good compared to the hot, hot air.

Not sure what else happened yesterday. Other than it was so bloody hot that I was melting almost the entire day…and night…and fell asleep on the computer when I was suppose to be talking to Grimmie.   I told Raya I was getting close to falling asleep…I know when I’m going to do it..yet I can’t seem to manage to get off the computer before I do do it. *headdesk* *laughs*

Today:
I’m not sure how I managed to sleep through the night…I did dream…and remebered some of it when I woke up…but failed to write it down at all…so now…it’s all gone. *headdesk* Still…at least I know I did dream.

It’s not even noon yet (not even 11) and I’m still feeling melty. Then again humidity is still up at 88% (was something like 94% once last night)…and the regular temp is already at 77.  Ahhhhh! The forecast was calling for highs in the low 70’s for today the last couple days…this is NOT it. *sigh*

Well, haven’t a clue what the rest of the day is going to bring…It was raining earlier…didn’t drop the temp. like I had hoped it would. Then again, the tunderstorm, as beautiful as it was last night, didn’t help the temp. any either.

*is still awaitig Arwen’s response to Mutt Love* *laughs*

And of course…braces stuff…

Sounds like you had fun. I’m jealous lol. Anyways. Take care!

I love being in the water, it’s such a great feeling. *sighs* I haven’t been swimming in ages, though. Not that I swim, technically, because I really can’t. But I still love being in the water. So, I’d probably have to be careful in that lake and not fall into a dropoff. Blah. I am sooo hating this hot weather. I’m glad I have an A/C, but that’s at home. I get to suffer at work. Oh joy! *laughs* We need to move to Alaska! (Since even Europe is having a heat wave.) Yay for Mutt Love! Crys said that since Arwen is all excited about Mutt Love, she’ll be my cheerleader for Raya/Lucius. Hehe. ~ [Pureblood]

We need rain desperately here. The storms blowing in, but it hasn’t started yet. I hope it does start very soon. It’s so hot here and just sweat pours off of me. Evil humidity. We have a lake here, but pretty much not worth swimming in. But actually people swim there and I have a few times. *sigh*
