Journal Exercise: Sensory Paragraph: Two:

Observe a routine occurance this week and write one sensory image paragraph. A sensory image paragraph should include all five of your senses and one use of figurative language (similie, metaphor, etc.).

I lay on the floor, the faint taste of my bublemint gum still lingering in my mouth. The rat creeps up my side and onto my stomach, each claw like a tiny pin prick on my skin. Eyes, like black beads stare at me, expectantly, like I’m suppse to be doing something, offering something. The fan in the other room blows in cool air, the scent of pine pushed along with it. Annoying noises, from an idiotic television program assult my ears, reminding me of the bothersome presence of another in the room.

Creative Writing Challenge is still open…I think I’ll post what’s been turned in on Friday.

Lovely paragraph! And you used taste this time. Heh. ~

Yay! Hmmm…that staying up thing was bad for my brain. I haven’t had bubblemint gum in ages. You know you could just name your Greatest Journal anything and go back and change it later. Don’t stress too much over a good name, it’ll come to you!
