Feeling Better

Like the title says, I’m feeling better today than yesterday. Though I am still a bit on the tired side. Blah. And throat hurts, but I can deal with that…And my head aches.  Yesterday, I felt like I’d been hit by a bus, or something…Yeses, ran over by the Knight Bus, that’s what happened. *nods* *laughs*

Sunday I went to do the weekly shopping. I found a pair of new tennis shoes, as the ones I had, I believe, I’ve had since High School…poor old shoes. *laughs*  But the ones I found have a built in safety feature (at least if you’re shoes around here), they don’t have any laces! Harley is real good and finding shoes with laces, and making them into shoes without laces.
Also went to Kohl’s, since the paper had this cute little tunic shirt in it. Found it…not quite the colour I was aiming for. The one in the paper was red. They only had 2 colours in my size, a not very attractive shade of tan/brown…and salmon (I refuse to say it’s pink. *laughs*). Well, I got the salmon coloured one…And it’s suppose to be a shirt, but it actually fits me like a dress. I think it’s cute…but that’s just me.
Also found a pair of sandles…They go along with the infulx of teal into my wardrobe…and I realized while I was taking them off after showing my mum…they match my tattoo! *laughs* (Which for those who are keeping track of such things…No the pet hasn’t noticed as of yet. Despite it has been out for a bit in his presence. Guess that just goes to prove how much attention he pays. *shrugs*)

Also went into the Old Navy store, just to check it out, since it’s new, and I hadn’t been there before. Found nothing for myself, which really doesn’t surprise me in the least. But the Critters got some new things. Critter A got 2 new t-shirts, and a really cute tunic top, and a skirt. Critter B got, 2 t-shirts, 2 long sleeved shirts, and a pair of pants.

When I got home Mum had the couch, so I took up resident on the floor…a little while later I’m informed the cat was in the house…Okay, I was fine…then later after the cat was out once more, I was getting a bit chilly, and pulled one of the blankets that was on the floor up over me…I’m thinking the cat had been through there at some point…and little bit later I was all stuffed up, and feeling miserable.

I’m thinking the cat ick let whatever else creep in after me…so Monday I woke up feeling dead. Which left me curled up on the couch, attempting to do as little as possible…Ate Chicken Noodle Soup, popped Echincea (sure that’s spelled wrong), and drinking my own herbal mixture…that I’m going to so be more careful mixing up the next batch…I’m still on the batch that had the bitter stuff in it, and it’s a bit too flowery.

Did finaly get my Amazon.com package with GOF…And yes, it’s only the single dvd…I’m thinking, for whatever reason, at this point, only the Wide-Screen editions have the additional disc. *pouts* It is quite disappoting…Though…with the lap top being my own personal home media center…I’m considering getting the wide screen version as well, for the second disc, and because my laptop is widescreened…And it’s all so up close….Oooo…Severus up close….*grabs him and hugs him tightly* *laughs*

Have to go back to the eye dr. today…as the contacts he gave me are crap. I had to switch to my old ones Saturday when I got home. Hopefully it’ll get fixed today.
