Interests: Tattoos

 Okay, this goes with the thought I had of using my interest list to come up with entries. And I’m sure it’s quite obvious the first intrest I’ve picked is tattoos. *smiles*  I’ve got four so far…and will be getting some more…just don’t know when or 100% sure of what. Though I do have a fairly good idea on a couple.  And those who read my Roleplay diary of Raven Pegasus, will note that she has the same tattoos…although with a slightly diffrent meaning…well, except for that last one. *laughs*

 First tattoo: Yeah…we are still up for grabs on what it is for sure. *laughs*  The main thoughts are either a dragon skull…or a DragonHighlord mask.  It’s from DragonLance…It’s the same tattoo that Takhisis, Queen of Darkness has, though opposite shoulder. Mine is on my right, her’s is on her left. (The first 3 of my tattoos have a DL connection to them.)  Takhisis is the goddess of night, evil dragons, and hatred…and hell bent on taking over the world of Krynn.

In roleplay it’s the symbol of a mystic order/cult, that Raven was part of for a very short time, until she realized that had intentions of sacrificing her, and using her body as a vessel to bring their goddess from another world to this one. They were called the Minions of Takhi (Still in keeping with it’s orginal origins).

Got a rather nasty scratch across it at one point…which if you look carefully you can see the scar running through it.

Second tattoo: My little blue elepant…isn’t he adorbale. *smiles*  The infinity symbol underneath, not only stands for forever, as per usual, but it’s also the symbol of the goddes Mishakal from DragonLance…She’s a goddes of healing, knowledge, fertility, and love (more or less the opposite of ol’ Takhi there. *laughs*). This one is on my left shoulder…And I won’t get into the reasoning behind it in full…there are those of you who already know. *hugs you all* And you’re all really great.

In roleplay it is in memory of Raven’s friend who died saving her from the Minions of Tahki.  It’s also due to a promise to Dominic that Raven became an animagus when she did…It was something they were suppose to do together, and after she lost him, she was determined to do it in honour of him.

Third tattoo: This one is a combination…The tri-color feather is for the DragonLance goddess Chislev. She is the goddess of nature…She is nature incarnate.  The cresent moon is for the Greek goddess Artemis. Who is also a goddess of nature, as well as the moon…and quite an impressive list actually.   Location…left upper chest.

In roleplay, it’s is a symbol of Raven’s lilin heritage. Lilin’s are children of the moon themselves, as well as having major nature connections. As is showing through the learning of Raven’s abilites. They also have brightly coloured wings and scales…Raven’s family’s feathers being brown, yellow, and green (as opposed to Naamah’s family being red, blue, and purple).

 Fourth tattoo: Well this pretty much has the same explanation in real life, and roleplay…now doesn’t it. *laughs*
*points* They’re snakes…shaped like S’s…S’s that just happen to stand for  Severus Snape. *grins*  Of course it could also stand for Slytherin Student as well… Location…middle of lower back

The next two I’m contemplating also will have Harry Potter connections.  *pictures Grim shuddering* *laughs* Yeah…anyway…*kidnaps Raya* *Runs off to tattoo shop* *laughs*
