it’s the new year…and i’m just now updating
so by now you all know i’m horrible at updating this journal of mine. there isn’t much to report really…life is actually good… i’m working full time doing daycare in my house, which really limits my online time..not that i ever really was a daily, or even weekly updater… heck i was barely a monthly updater lol!
health-wise everything is okay with my brother, he just had his 6 month check ups and everything was clear and at levels they should be… dad on the other hand has to have neck surgery and they want to put another stimulator in him…. which i think is crazy but the doctors know best…yes yes it’s not about the money they get at all for the surgery… please note the sarcasm…his body rejected it the first time and he was on life support for 9 days…hmmm we really should try it a second time right?… but if he doesn’t do the surgery… then the pain specialist will drop him as a patient…the doc swears that he will be fine this time around…. can i get that in writing please? oh no he can’t do that… then i would have a malpractice suit with it in writing…
but there isn’t much i can do about it…so on to other things… i decided to not keep my county certification for childcare… all my kids are private pay, and there was just too much paperwork i had to do daily even though they are all private pay…. plus there’s restrictions on how many kiddos i can have at one time… which put me out of compliance at times… because i’d be one kiddo over for a few hours… there are restrictions on private pay kiddos too for anyone not certified…but with mom, dad & bub here, the adult/kid ratio is less than 6 kids per adult….but i couldn’t do that with the certification… financially it’s no different for me, but I was able to drop the rates for the private pay kids….which really helped a few parents out… and now i can add a few more kids if their schedules fit my free time, even if they overlap into time already taken by 6 kids….and not have to worry about it…
speaking of kids…. i have them coming in the door so i’ll have to finish this later…
