One to go…
Last night was an evening of Scottish Country Dancing. The night before was a Coldest Day Party at a friend’s house – an outdoor evening with a bonfire and hot drinks in the outdoor kitchen. We either hosted or attended dinner parties on the 20th, 22nd, 23rd, Christmas Eve, and the 26th. Christmas Day dinner was just Lady Wife & me, a relaxing dinner of rack of lamb persillade accompanied by a good bottle of wine. And tonight is a NYE party. Happily it is someone else’s, so I don’t have to host.
I am festivitied-out at the moment. If I manage to stay awake until Midnight tonight, I shall be surprised.
We received a letter from our friend in Monaco, Ditha, wishing us a Bonne Année, and informing us that she will be attending the Grand Chapître in Washington D.C. from October 17th-20th. It will be nice having one held so close, not requiring a flight for us to get there. We have to coordinate some plans to show her around a bit before or after the event.
