blah blah blah-nother day in paradise

 So line of storms hits the city,  tree comes down on my neighbors yard,  

what to do?  >>>Lets hit the mexican place up the street, its your birthday..yeah I am a lightweight two strong drinks I dont what it was but the kind that have umbrellas and more than one type of alchohol in it..and I start teaching my son pick-up lines to use on women…lets just say that the women at the table where not impressed…

Came back home power was still out, no rain just crazy wind,  I hit the hammock in the back yard and watch as the branches fall from the trees around me,  there is a particularly large tree with dead branches right over my hammock…yeah it was thrilling..  I fell out of the hammock…that wasnt fun…but the good news was when I fell I saw a flash of of bushy tail…Aha!  I spotted a Kit from the fox’s litter..

We have  a beautiful red-tailed fox haunting our back yard…heh it turns out her den is not 50′ from the side fence…good for her..

I am going to have to leave some treats out for her kits…

She has a haunting yelp and at night she will lead predators away from her den by yapping and then moving then yapping then moving..

combined with the giant owl that we have its wonderful…my dogs are pussies and pretend they dont hear the fox because her voice is almost human and haunting..and she scares them..  I will try to get pics of her..

At 1130 the wind picked up and I grabbed the girl and headed to the basement with the dogs,  if one of the ‘old ones’ comes down it will cut right through the house like an axe…I asked my wife to come down she said "go away"  my son then woke up in tears and ran yelling upstairs crying and apoligizing for being an asshole to her on her birthday and please come down..

Then I was yelled at by both of them for not waking her up,  at which point I pointed out that as long as one of us lived we would be fine and that I had tried to wake her up….I rolled over on the couch…put the pillow on the head and said good night…so much for the concept of probability and stats..

Crazy damn day…was paid from one of my clients then guess what,  phone call comes<  "don’t deposit the checks"  damn 2 months late on payment and still cant get paid…sigh….
