This last week…

 …has been absolutely insane, emotionally.

It affects you when your partner is going through something very difficult…it affects you a lot.  But, I’ve been expecting this, and have gone through it partially once before, so I know it will calm down, the anger will start to subside eventually, but in the meantime I’m still rather pissed.  I guess I just can’t believe people can be so selfish.

In other news – my Sister From Another Mister has said she’ll gladly give us her Kitchenaid Mixer that’s "still in the box" because, "you’ve seen my house, it’s the size of a postage stamp – I have no room for a mixer like that."  She also doesn’t really bake that much, that I know of, probably due to her house being so small.  That is a small windfall as we were going to buy one from Sams Club since they’re on sale right now.

We want to cook more, be more self sufficient (where possible).  We want to enjoy life more.  We want lots of things…simple things – nothing too grandiose.

Okay, it’s time to order Pizza Hut (because it’s one of those days) and watch Black Comedy ("How High" is first on the list!).
