It’s kind of a funny story

Saw this film today about a guy who checks himself into a mental institution. A light movie about someone who has thought about killing himself. He’s in a depression but doesn’t have a big reason for this. Just life in general, school, girls, choices. He meets a girls and learns that he has to enjoy life and has to do what he wants. He chooses life, art, and doesn’t going to summer school, as his father wishes. Nice.

Last Friday was the first day of the newly set up rapid games competition. With 7 players we had a turn out which was above expectation. Maybe it is possible to have draughts player play during the summer. We played in a cafe with music on, which makes it more enjoyable and also more informal. Not like the ‘serious’ games during the normal competition. Hopefully we can continue with about the same size group for the entire summer. It might become difficult though as with the EC football, the Olympic Games and the summer draughts tournaments.
