Long weekend.

I’ve thoroughly enjoying my 3 day weekend.  Back to work tomorrow though.

Last night I went to the Taste of Tasmania with Jade.  The taste is something they do every year down in this huge warehouse on the wharf.  Stalls of food wine beer and icecream inside and bands etc outside.  We had some tea and then an amazing raspberry tart thing for dessert.  We went to see our friend Emma after that and her sister who just got engaged.

We were meant to pick up Paranormal Activity II on the way but by the time we got to the video store it was closed so we came in empty handed.  We settled for Silence of the Lambs instead, Emma hadn’t seen it before and refused to go home because her bf was out shooting and she didn’t want Hannibal to get her hahaha.

I hadn’t heard from Bren since he called me on Saturday, I woke up at half 9 this morning to a msg from him.  He was at work (aka away from her) and had time to talk.  He was only working 4 hours of overtime, so finished at 1PM, at about 12.50 he says "so i’ll see you about 130" I played along and said no worries, I wasn’t really sure if he was serious or not.

Turns out he was, he came over and we watched a movie.  Easy A, funny shit.  He laid on the bed and I sat in my PC chair.  I got a cuddle just before he left, he was like "come here" and I laid with my back to his chest and he put his arms around me and I wrapped my hands around his arms.  I forgot how amazing that felt.  I hate that he does that to me, but he instantly does.

He kissed me on the neck and we fought off the urge to forget everything and rip each other’s clothes off.  I could’ve laid there with him for hours.

I know we’re bad, and I know most of you don’t approve, even though unlike a few of you, most of you are very supportive of what I write and don’t judge.  Yes, he has a girlfriend and I’m not saying we’re right to do this.  I can’t help it.  This is my damn diary too so if you don’t like it then I don’t want your opinion.

I told Jade that I slept with him when I just started at voda last night.  She was not very happy.  She told me not to be like that and we need to get whatever it is between us out of our system.  I do agree.  Both of us are so hesitant though.  Scared we’re going to screw each other over.  That our friendship, or whatever it is between us will be ruined.  It’s not excuse, but we just seem to stall.

I love him, he loves me, that’s as far as we’ve got.  Do I think we’ll end up together eventually?  Yes.  I can’t function without him and he can’t function without me, but we also have other stuff in our lives, things that need to be sorted before it would work.

Anyway. 

I didn’t exercise today, there’s no way I’m going to be able to sleep tonight.  My gym finally opens back up to normal hours tomorrow, thank god.  I was having withdrawls.  Pretty obsessive but hey, I’ll take it.

I really hope all the TIO voda guys will be back on 3 calls tomorrow, I’d kill for some greentime (no calls)
