Fires, work, foam and poser pics!

So I actually have time for an update because Geard is in VIC helping out with the bushfires.  He’s been gone since last Thursday and I’ve been very lonely without him!  He hasn’t had any reception either so apart from the odd msg once a day I haven’t really talked to him.  I got a bit in my own head today, and thought he didn’t want to talk to much and blah blah, you know how us girls get, but i got a suprise msg at about lunch time and I was smiling for the rest of the day hehe.  Doesn’t take much to keep me happy!

Bit worried about him tomorrow though.  It’s meant to be 30 degrees in VIC with 150 km winds.  Big big fire danger.  I got a msg on my Telstra phone today warning that there was a severe fire warning in VIC and to be listening to ABC for updates all day.  Bit scary knowing he’s over there in that.  It was a good idea to send the message out nation wide.. But I think it’s also an encouragement for fire bugs.  They’ve all suddenly come out from everywhere and people are dying because of them.  I think making a bigger fuss is only going to encourge their behaviour.  Nothing that can be done to stop it I guess.

So a girl at Julie’s work just gave her notice and Julie is putting in a good word for me tomorrow to get her job.  I’ll be so excited if I can get it.  I would love a full time job with secured hours and a fixed pay every week.  It means I can save, or move out, and budget everything!  Julie seems to think I’d have a pretty good chance at getting it.  I don’t want to get my hopes up too much though incase he says no.  It’s just an admin job but it’d be good to do whilst i’m trying to get into the police force.

I’ve lately been addicted to Myer.  We don’t have a lot of shops in Hobart, so all the big brands are pretty much only found in Myer.  Julie and I have both gone crazy on Mossimo underwear.  The ones with the thick elastic around the top.  They’re so comfortable.  I just thought i would share that with you!

So i took some pics with my new camera the other day, just because I haven’t really had a chance to use it anywhere else yet!  It’s a public holiday on Monday so Isobar is open Sunday night (Our clubs only open Wed Fri and Sat night, there just aren’t the people to open all week like most places)  And it’s FOAM NIGHT lol so will be drunken and dancing around a huge pile of foam, completely soaking wet, can’t wait lol!  Anyways here are the pics!
