Things I’ve Learned Today
- Today is not Sunday.
- Vicodin with my anti-psychotics makes me very disoriented and partly hallucinate.
- I did not have a fight over the phone with James.
- I was also not standing in the bathroom while imaging this fight.
- I’m convinced The Young Blonde One (aka my roommate) is trying the tactic often used by men on women. If they don’t do a chore, or do it wrong, the women will eventually give up and do it themselves.
- Cale HATES the door on her litter box. She pooped in The Young Blonde One’s big plant sometime during the night. Cat got extra treats from me tonight.
- I really do play with extremely high and sharp focus. I’m starting to hear the difference and want to attempt to make the changes.
- Lying on the floor does not make my back pain go away. Neither does walking, sitting in a chair, lying on the bed, sitting on the bed, sitting on the floor or any of the other positions I attempted.
- Practicing with this kind of back pain is just not possible.
- The back pain was probably not helped by the rearranging of my room that took place today.
- Rearranging my room really did improve my overall feeling. Whether its real feng shui or just "Rory-flow" I don’t know, but it helped!
- Cale no longer likes playing with her jingle toy. But she still brings at to me so I can enjoy playing with it.
- There is huge satisfaction in balancing my checkbook and budget and finding myself with a little extra money to put aside. Not a lot mind you, but enough to make me feel like I’m figuring out how to spend wisely.
- I really need to do laundry.
- I’m more of a Democrat than I want to admit to my Republican father and friends. But less of a Democrat than I want to proclaim it from the roof tops.
- Presidential debates are much more fun with Vicodin!
- For the first time ever, I might actually want one of the presidential candidates to win because I support them, not because they are the lesser of two evils. Might.
- No matter how hard I work, the To-Do list will never end.
All in all, a rather productive day for being in excruciating pain for 90% of it!

erdana” size=”2″>Who do you carry the torch for, my young man?
Do you believe in anything?
Do you carry it around just to burn things down?
Meet me tonight on the turnpike, my darling
Cause we believe in everything
If we sweat all these debts then we’re sure to drown
So we strap ourselves up to this engine now
With a God that we found, laying under the backseat
What did you learn tonight?
You’re shouting so loud you barely enjoy this broken thing
You’re a voice that never sings, is what I say
You were freezing over hell
You were bringing on the end, you do so well
You can only blame yourself, it’s what I say
Order your daughters to ignore me, think that will sort me
and sweep me under the rug
And a beating with a book everyone
The book tells you to love
There is an ember in the heart of the kiln
And its burning hot with love
Burning out my sins until there’s nothing but dust
Holding me with care into your cigarette
Cause the God I believe in never worked on a campaign trail
What did you learn tonight?
You’re shouting so loud you barely enjoy this broken thing
You’re a voice that never sings, is what I say
You were freezing over hell
You were bringing on the end, you do so well
You can only blame yourself, it’s what I say
Who do you carry the torch for, my young man?
Do you believe in anything?
Do you carry it around just to burn things to the ground?
What did you learn tonight?
You’re shouting so loud you barely enjoy this broken thing
You’re a voice that never sings, is what I say
You were freezing over hell
You were bringing on the end, you do so well
You can only blame yourself, it’s what I say
Feels like we could escape this
I might throw it away for fear of the silver sun
If you try running a maze of your lies
It’s too hard to save you’ve thrown out everyone
The Archers Bows Have Broken ~ Brand New
Hopefully by now, your back pain is better! RYN: I’m a 38DD naturally … if I get any bigger, I’ll fall over! I’m really, really hoping they don’t get much bigger – they’re already more trouble than they’re worth.

RYN: Yeah, Sir can’t wait until my “ankles” get nice and huge! LOL! I took my first belly picture tonight, thanks to the good advice of you and others. It’ll be cool to see how I progress!
