Listen to the world out on the outside pressing in

So again Chris doesn’t show up and end up answering phones after listening to Julia complain about how she always answers the phones and not everyone shares the responsibility. Bullshit. She spent maybe 10 minutes watching the phones yesterday. I didn’t have makeup on cause I was too lazy and I was in a bad mood. But I have to watch the phones cause I don’t work for an attorney who needs me. Julia just about refuses to answer phones when Steve is here, but she thinks other secretaries should be pulled from their attorneys. Steve is basically part-time here. He’s barely here anymore, with one foot in the retirement bin. And she complains when she has to watch the phones. Ehh, bugger off.
And this morning I was in a very strange mood. Everytime I answered the phones I felt like I was about to burst into tears. It makes for a very nerve-racking morning. At least there were no bitchy annoying clients, just the bitchy secretaries who I could care less about. I don’t like it when clients get upset cause it reflects on the firm. Goes along with that whole I take pride in my job crap. At least Alison is answering the phones correctly now. And yesterday I went to the movies with Kaba and Vincent. I kinda didn’t want him to come, but he’s pretty perceptive and played video games before the movie so she and I could talk. He’s also rather mature for his age, so he didn’t act like the 15 year-old he is around us. He definitly looks 15 so I never forget he’s a lot younger, but he’s cool. And I saw Harry Potter. Honestly I was thinking about it later and I was kinda disappointed. There were some things they skipped over and left out. The books get longer and longer, but the movies seem to get shorter and shorter. Just kinda a contradiction. But they did get the whole story across, which is good. I don’t like the new actor for Dumbledore. He’s just got different mannerisms than the first one. Not nessecarily bad, but I really liked the first one and I was used to him. Oh well, thats life.
Ehh, neh nah. I’m just in an odd mood. No wonder Coheed is in my CD player…

Listen to the world out on the outside pressing in
are you ready on my mark?
fingers given names and with the last word they ascend
on the comfort of their well being…in arms
into something they can’t stop but wish that they could kill
you’re the answer to their prayer
in your last hour stand
you’ll notice the one that you had loved and dreams is here among the others
chase it’s you I want but if I can’t have her
then why should I spend any more time in a world that’s going to end pretty soon?
I need you now more than I ever did
I’ll hand myself over for you
this comlink’s lost its frequency and I feel that we’re coming home short
here take me instead I’d rather not see her off alone
scattered amongst the killing streets the children slate defense
is god’s work to have us fail?
rivered blood streams out the dead as bodies foul the air
I’ll make peace when this is done
in arms…we storm
slowly the streets begin to fill with new flesh bound to bone
armed and ready it begins again…tonight we form
deliver a favor for my love
I’ll make peace when this is done.

Hi 🙂 I’m going to go and see Harry Potter tomorrow…the day that it opens here in Australia. I’m a Potter freak!! hehe. I also suspect that I won’t like the new Dumbledore as much as the first one. Richard Harris was very special but I suppose by movie 4 or 5 we will be used to the new guy. I’ll write an entry about what I think after I’ve seen it. Boo!! to the mean people at your work!…
