Labor Day
Here we are, ready to start a new month. This weekend is Labor Day already.
Have you thought about the new trend of using Labor Day to help somebody? I think it’s a great idea! I’m thinking about what I could do… "The spirit is willing", as they say, but this old body is not able to go out and paint somebody’s fence…or any thing else physical. So, I’ll try to be creative and think of some other way…
My most memorable Labor Day has to be 1961. I gave birth to my John early in the evening after a day of not-to-hard "labor". When he was ready, he was ready! Barely made it to the hospital. I think he was not quite done cooking…two weeks ahead of due date. He was scrawny and red and had some respiratory problems. But he prospered and in a few weeks he had turned into the handsome fellow that he was.
I miss you, Johnny.
(This isn’t what I started out to write…It just came out of my fingers like the tears in my eyes…sorry….)
*HUGS*… More *HUGS*…..

This happens to me too. Not as often as it used to but I know it will never stop for either one of us. Labor Day weekend is when Michael and Misty got married and now they are both gone. But, at least, they are together.
