Can you hear me now? (Edit)

Or maybe I should say, " can I hear you now?" I just got back from my audiologist, wearing my new ears. I sure hope they work like I want them to. Cost two arms and a leg. I just want to be able to watch a movie on TV and hear at least enough of the conversation to be able to follow the plot, and to be able to be in a group and know what they are talking about…. If these babies don’t do the trick, I don’t know what will. My life without hearing well has become so terribly frustrating I have become depressed and unhappy.

(Edit) I have been wearing hearing aids for about ten years. They just weren’t cutting it for me anymore so I got newer, higher tech, ones. Jury is still out….

DH had no idea how bad his hearing was, he knew he was struggling to hear but it took him awhile to decide to get a hearing check. His hearing loss was greater than he expected. We got him hearing aides last summer and he was stunned to hear again. He really likes his and me too. I hope they work, not hearing can minimize your quality of life for certain.

Hope they work well for you. Got them for my Mom a few months back. I think Arlen needs them, but he isn’t having any of it.

I sure hope these ones work better for you! Denise’s hearing has been lessened quite a bit from her medical scare. She just asks me for a commentary when she can’t hear the TV well enough…so far. 🙁

My bff just got hearing aids. It took her one modification to style but she loves them and no one can even tell she’s wearing them. Hope you have the same good results!
