Already?

     Had an appointment with the dental hygienist yesterday.  Seems it’s time to start the rounds once again. Ran out of my anti-depressants and my new PCP wouldn’t refill the prescription over the phone.  I’m way over-due to visit my audiologist and get my hearing aids serviced…I expect she’s going to want to sell me a new $$$$ set and I have decided to use the money to help my granddaughters pay their college tuition instead.  Really need to re-schedule the colonoscopy I canceled in October because we were in the middle of moving.  I think I am good until fall with my eye doc and cardio. 

     I have really been thinking I’ll just quit taking all my meds (none of them are actually keeping me alive) and just see what happens. But then, again,…….

       We took the community bus a the casino town in the mountains Monday.  We went, expecting to lose, and of course, we did.  Only about $10 between us.  We were up about 100 bucks early on, but there were two hours left before the bus was to pick us up…Yup, it’s a conspiracy.  Don’t know if we’ll do that again.  Nothing to do except eat and gamble.  Not even any place to sit and rest except in front of a slot machine or at a poker table.  Lunch was good, though, considering it was buffet.  Got to know some of our neighbors a little better.

     Next week we go on the bus to the horse races.  We’ll see how that goes.

     It’s another hot week here on the Front Range.  Nineties every day. Needing rain and looking forward to the "monsoon."  They keep telling us it’s coming.
