Since 2003

How many people are going to say this…but… Jeez, this is weird. I never thought I’d write here again. I don’t even feel like I’m the same person I was when I wrote my last entries here. I’m still married to the same person and living in the same place, but time changes a person.

Since then I’ve been back to school, after I left school I found that the job prospects weren’t as great as the school made it sound like they would be, so I decided that wasn’t for me after enduring working for a complete prick for a little over a year.

I quit and started doing Freelance Data Entry for awhile, that was alright, it was great being my own boss, but it really didn’t pay well for the amount of time it sucked up.

I’m doing Freelance nature & stock photography now, plus some hired events and such. I can make in one night what it used to take me two weeks doing data entry, but I’m not getting a lot of gigs yet. In my free time I’m working towards learning guitar. I’m singing every Saturday down at the pub my guitar teacher owns. It’s awesome and a little bit funny doing what I’m doing now. When I was a little girl I took a lot of pictures and loved to sing along to music and pretend I was a big star on stage. Now, I’m 36 and what am I doing? Taking a lot of pictures and standing on stage singing. I’m not a big star, but I feel a little bit like a celebrity in the pub. Life is funny the way it comes in circles.

I’m pleased, and I’m really looking forward to getting to re-know everyone else who used to be here with me.

I’ll probably change my user-name at some point, to represent my current life more, but for now I’ll leave it alone.

Welcome back! When I was little I wanted to be an oceanographer (lots of watching Jacques Cousteau) – I still have to make that come true 🙂

At the very least make sure you do some Scuba Diving someday, if you haven’t already! 🙂

I’m glad you can channel your inner child for a living. A lot of people are alienated from their inner child and suffer from the loss.

I wonder if Atheist Underneath Ur Bed will come back. I miss Monday School.

I like that most of us are keeping our old names, especially as we get reacquainted. And singing in that pub sounds like a lot of fun 🙂
