More stuff

The boy is at my parents for a few hours. I’m home watching the last few episodes of the most current season of Mad Men. Just a few more till I’m fully caught up.

Breaking Bad was pretty damn good last night. I wasn’t a huge fan of the first half of season 5. It started going downhill maybe, mid season 4. It was still good, just not amazing. But this last half of season 5 looks very promising.

Been tearing through Orphan Black, which I bought on iTunes, having missed it when it aired on BBC America. It’s soooo addicting.

What else?

I’m 39 weeks on Wednesday. Am enjoying my last days of freedom. If I had my wish I’d go into labor at 40 weeks and a few days. That’d be nice. I don’t understand people who are dying to get the baby out the minute the hit term at 37 weeks. I’m like, gimme more time! More time!

Max turned 2 this past weekend. He ate his birthday cake with a fork like an adorable little gentleman. Normally he’s not that into sweets, so it was a little bit delightful. Oh, I am so not looking forward to the adjustment period when his sister arrives and he can’t have his mom to himself all the time. My heart breaks a little for the imminent loss of our family of 3, he’s my only child, time. I know it’s all for the best and it’ll only be better and sweeter with two. But I will miss my time with only my little boy.

Holy fuck, I am exhausted. Just bone tired every day. The last few weeks of pregnancy are no joke.

Days of our Lives is on in the background now. I love how awful and awesome this show is. My mom watched it when my brother and I were little ones so we grew up watching it on and off too. Is amazing to me that some of the characters that were on when I was like, 5 are still on today.
