stuff
1. I’m really enjoying the new series The Following. It’s murderous and formulaic, but still pretty damn fun. Survivor returns tonight. Crazy Pink Underwear Phillip is back. I’m excited. Game of Thrones comes back end of March and I can’t wait. I still miss Ned though.
Sigh. I love television.
2. One of my mom friends is married to one of my high school alumni. He was a grade above me and though I didn’t know him super well, we ran in the same circles and I dated his best friend. In 7th grade and after high school. He was my first kiss, crazily enough. Anyway, their son Sam is turning 1 and we’re going to his bday party this weekend. A handful of people I went to high school with, and was casual friends with, will be there. Should be lots of fun.
3. I’m not ready for it to be spring yet. It was near tee shirt weather today and that’s just not acceptable.
4. Eric and I will have been together for ten years this April. TEN years. That’s just staggering to me. I knew he was something special, something different, pretty much as soon as we liked realized we liked each other. Bit it’s still crazy to me that its been this long. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I yell at The Following. I love/hate pointing out all the inaccuracies I see. (Or think I see!) Matt loves it. (The show. He HATES the yelling.)

We’ll be hitting the 10 year mark in May. It feels really momentous, somehow. Who would have thunk it?

I can’t believe you guys have been together that long. I remember reading you before that. Bizarre!

For one, I can’t imagine serial killers are allowed unlimited visitors, who don’t have to show ID. That just seems silly!! I also yell about the music. They keep using covers and every time I recognize one I yell about how much better the original one is. Last episode they used a cover of “Fade Into You” by Mazzy Star, and it was done in the exact same style as the original, with inferior vocals. Why even bother?? Probably I should just stop watching the show if it infuriates me so much but I JUST CAN’T.

Wow 10 years! Time flies. Uh and thank you for reminding me that Survivor is back. I’m glad you watch it too, i feel like everyone I know doesn’t even know it’s still on the air :p Oh and Game of Thrones is never going to be the same, now that I have ‘met’ Tommy Carcetti…
