Update

I have written a couple of restricted entries which is very unusual for me. Reason being is they contain private information in them.

One is my photography business card and the other is a link to my website.

It is coming along slowly…

I received an email from a gentleman who is looking for a photographer for his wedding in January for a very inexpensive amount that most other photographers would laugh at. I called the number that was the most local – in O-town – not sure where the other number was from but – ya know a gal needs to try to save on long distance charges… Oh wait – I have free long distance. What a time to remember LOL

Anyway – I spoke to his intended and I am hoping that she is not put off by the fact that I am just starting out. She said if they had not found someone else she would call me back… Not a good sign.

SO, today I sent him an email letting him know I spoke with his intended and what I told him and what I would give him and even came down $100 bucks on what he was looking to pay – said I would not charge for enhancements or touch-ups – and give him the digital negatives at no charge but I would retain the copyright… Just for being one of my first weddings.

We shall see how it pans out. If you are a prayin person – please keep this in your thoughts and prayers. It would really help me out to get this gig. (Is it called a gig with photography?)

My website is starting to take shape… If you are not on my super faves and would like to see it – just leave me a note and I will check ya out and maybe add you – I have to be protective of my secret identity you know! 🙂 I am a SUPER HERO – CAMERA GAL! Able to take pictures at a moments notice! ha ha

Ok – off to the shower whilst the daughter sleeps – then off to make a bank deposit and do a small shop for things like pull ups and milk….

That’s another thing – we go through over 3 gallons of milk a week! And the price in the Daytona area runs anywhere from $3.30-3.89 a gallon! CRAZY!

Milk is soo expensive here too, but only at the grocery stores. Jewel, Cub, Dominicks, Kroger, etc… Wal-Mart has it for $1.79, most times cheaper, and our local imports market has it for $1.99 no matter what. Target has it for $3.69 and that is such a laugh!!!!

Amy and Lynx drinks milk… it’s over $4 a gallon here in Metro Hell. 🙁 I think the cows are getting the last laugh off of us. *laffs*

Your email address and such got erased when my diary got erased. I have no idea what I’m supposed to bring or even wear for the pictures, if you’re still interested in doing them. Let me know, and we’ll set up a time next week if you’re available. 😀

ryn: I use an IR filter on an ultrasonic lens… push up the saturation in manual, open up my f/stop as far as possible and then do a long exposure… I apply a cyan filter, post processing. It’s some wicked fun with photography. 😀
