Marriage Survey Stolen from [Un]Masked

Q1. How long have you been married?
A. It will be 10 years on December 2. 🙂

Q2. How long were your engaged?
A. About 8 months. I moved to SC in March, we were engaged in April and married in December.

Q3. How did you meet?
A. Kal’s best friend introduced us – we all lived in the same condo/apartment complex.

Q4. What was so amazing about your spouse back then?
A. He made me feel all squishy inside and he was my best friend.

Q5. What is so amazing about your spouse now?
A. First of all – see above – the same holds true today – but he is also a wonderful provider – a devoted father. He has a great sense of humor. He has also put up with my sorry but and my increased health problems since my auto accident in 2000.

Q6. What does your spouse do that drives you batty?
A. The fact he cannot find anything he looks for and I can find it in like 2 minutes.

Q7. What are a few things you’ve had to compromise on?
A. Really there is not much we have to compromise on – we hold the same views and values – We have never had a full fleged arguement about anything. (sickening I know)

Q8. What are a few of your spouses quirks that you’ve accepted?
A. Air Guitar on the steering wheel of the car

Q9. What are a few of your quirks that your spouse has accepted?
A. I am not sure – you would have to ask him – as with quirks – the person who has them usually does not know they have them. LOL

Q10. What is your favorite thing to do with your spouse?
A. Spending time with him, even if it is just hanging out and watching movies. I also love to travel with him. Several years ago when we lived in SC we did a lot of weekend trips just to go and drive and see. Now that he commutes three hours a day – he does not like to go anywhere on the weekends anymore. I really don’t blame him, but I still miss those times.

Q11. What is something fun you’ve done together recently?
A. Hmmmmm – not counting playing EQ2 or SWG or our snuggle time – I would have to say – watching a movie curled up in bed next to each other. (no it was not a porno – get your minds out of the gutter… we watched Galaxy Quest!)

Q12. Does your spouse remember special dates like anniversaries and birthdays?
A. Yes!

Q13. What is your favorite moment so far spent with your spouse?
A. Every moment is my favorite moment!

Q14. What is the best marital advice you’ve ever received?
A. Do not let the sun go down on your anger.

Q15. If you could do it all again, would you change a thing?
A. I think I would have eloped instead of having a wedding like we did. It would have saved tons of money and I can barely remember that day anyway… as for everything else – no – I would not change a thing. Our relationship is the sum of everything we have experienced together.

awww! … so sweet. i m gonna steal this.

Aw, this is so refreshing as well as a learning tool. Ya’ll got married the same month we did. Your engagement lasted the same amount of time that Brian and I knew each other before getting married. 🙂 Sending another note for the answers to RYN.

ryn: LOL, don’t even know, it was on USA… had some chick in pink hair, too.

Per our earlier conversation…I had noted Rachele telling her “I know someone who has a daughter by this exact same name.” She says RyN: I Had no idea. (Autumn Rose) (p) somehow I don’t believe her.

Scratch that…she’s changed her name to Autumn Breeze.
