Remember the swear word
I just read my fave JennieCz22’s entry about kids and swearing and it brought to remembering the very first time I uttered a swear word.
I was about 11 or 12 and my sister and I were waiting in the car with my father for my mom to come out of the grocery store.
We were sounding out words between us like on the Electric Company….
Sh……….ot Shot
Sh……….ed Shed
Sh……….it Shit
I meant to make the word Ship – but got confused. I was so embarrassed – my dad just laughed.

ROTFL – I remember “The Electric Company”! I lovvvvved it! I know just the bit you’re talking about, they did it all the time. My favorite was “Love of Chair.” Gosh that takes me back!

I remember my first swear word, only it wasn’t so nice and I was also with my sister, And as well as I remember the inccident, my parents didn’t laugh about it. It wasn’t till I was an adult that they ever heard another one come out of me:)

I wrote the word sh…..it on paper once; about age 11 I think. My father found it. Made me eat Dial soap. 🙁
