No Meows

There weren’t any felines there. Not a one. I looked and looked. And I asked someone where they were hidden. They just looked at me like I had lost my mind.

“Why in the world would you think we had cats here?” she asked me.

“How else am I going to get scanned?” I replied.

*****

The CAT scan went fine. My sis could not go with me but my dad did. I was about 20 minutes early, as usual. I am always early for everything.

I handed her my insurance card and doctor orders at 10:30 and they called me back just before 11. I was done at 11:06.

We picked up Mz. Thing from Babsie’s house. She was sleeping and slept through the fantastic Mexican Feast my father and I enjoyed at La Fiesta Restaurant. (UnexpectedBlessings – you should check them out – in the Albertsons Shopping plaza at Nova and Dunlawton) She will get to partake later. LOL She woke up just as we were getting ready to walk out the door.

She is now sleeping in her swing. I guess staying up all night screaming wore her out. (See entry before this one)

I am tired too. I think I am going to lay down on the sofa for a bit. I have a headache and I think it is from the dye. No anaphylaxis shock – thank goodness…. Oh and that dye – was injected – but I could taste it – how weird!

PS – Autumn is 6 months old TODAY!

wow 6 months already

Did you get a warm feeling or feel like you’d wet yourself with the dye? Hope she sleeps through the night.

tasting it is pretty common, makes me feel very warm for a few minutes when it first hits too. I saw that as a cartoon once, a guy was on the table and the tech was holding a cat over him telling him he was about to start the cat scan :p

meow 🙂

RYN: I live in Walton county, outside of Gwinnett Co, I am right between Athens and Atlanta. I am fixing to move out to the Marietta/Cobb county area with my fiance, probably first of the year. I am so exicted… I’ve never lived in the city before!! 🙂

I’m sure the BKT’s gave you a CAT scan when you got home. I can’t believe Autum is 6 months already! It seems like yesterday she was born.

YAY!! for Autumn!!!!

Sorry I just keep thinking about it, it sounds so much like ears. She had a stuffy cold, which creates fluid in the ear, which creates ear infection a lot of the time. That could be why she sleeps semi-upright in the swing, and not in her crib, also. If you take her to the ped. and it turns out it is ear infection, ask for the drops (auralgan) they work wonders (numb the ear canal). Good luck.
