Dr. Appointment

Well Doc’s office called me back. They want to see her tomorrow morning. They said if she were not coughing then there would be no need. But they want to check her out. If she is really sick then they will have to move her 6 month check up back a week or two – she cannot get her shots if she is ill.

She will be 6 months old on Thursday. Sometimes it seems like she is growing so slowly but then it seems she just had her 4 month check up a couple of weeks ago.

In other news – I had my neurologist appointment last week Thursday. Since I am still breast-feeding he could not give me anything else for my fibro. He did refill my headache pills and we gave an extra month between visits. I don’t go back now until March. No point in going for pain management when I cannot take anything he would normally give me.

I did mention my bumps on my neck – the ones I am sure are t fibro trigger points and he said he wanted me to get a CAT scan to rule out lymphoma or anything else. He said he does not mess around with lumps on the neck. Well-my primary thought they were just infected glands but the amoxacillian he prescribed did not touch them so I figured they were the trigger points. Sigh. One more thing on my plate to worry about. My friend Babsie will keep Autumn for me and my sister is going to try to go with me.

Why have her come with me? Well, She went into anaphylaxis shock when they gave her the dye. She NEVER had an allergic reaction to shellfish or anything. She is afraid I could go into shock like she did. Now I have had a CAT Scan but I have never had the dye, so yes, I am a little scared. I go in on Thursday.

I am working on getting my kitchen re-arranged and straitend up. I will post new pics of it soon. Target has a storage thingee I want to replace the four-drawer thingee i have under the window. Someday when I have an extra 150 bucks I will pick it up. I can almost use my kitchen well now. I bought hinges for the center island so I can raise the leafs up and actually have MORE space to work on. That will be nice.

Ok I think that is about all for tonight. Time to play with sick baby whilst Kal watches Eddie Murphy – Raw on one of the HBOs. Night all. I will let you all know what the doc says about Autumn tomorrow.

Can you get the dye when you’re breastfeeding? I had a friend who had to pump and throw out her milk after a CAT scan, but I don’t remember why for.

Hope Autumn gets better soon, and that those lumps are nothing serious! *hugs* I’ve had a CAT sca with a dye of some sort. Not sure if it’s the same but it makes you feel warm all over, and then you feel like you’ve wet youself. It only lasted a second or two though.
