How the OB Visit went

Well Autumn is measuring in at 38 cm or the size she should be at 38 weeks. I am only 35.5 weeks along so she is way big!

The fluid I thought I was leaking is not amnio fluid and I am not leaking anything; she said it was cervical mucus and nothing to be worried about.

My BP was fantastic. Not high at all.

She said there was nothing she could do about the swelling I have in my hands and feet. She said it will actually get worse right after delivery due to all the fluids they have to give me for the c-section. It will start to get better about 3 days after delivery and should have all the water gone by day 10. Thank goodness.

I gained another 3 pounds in the last two weeks – but they are positive it is all water weight. I am now 236 I have gained a total of 22 pounds since I became pregnant.

She said Autumn has not dropped yet so is not anywhere near ready to be born yet.

She said, due to Murphy’s Law, Autumn may decide to be born while DH is out of town. (NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!) She will not change my scheduled c-section even though Autumn is so big. She said since I am delivering by section anyway, a big baby is not a problem. (Tell that to my achin back)

I have another Ultrasound scheduled for Tuesday to check Autumn’s growth, amnio levels, and her lungs to see how far developed they are. (Could it be she would change her mind and allow me deliver the baby early if her lungs are developed? – I mean with my torn disk in my back – and all the pain I am having do you think??? No, Prolly not. Not my luck)

So I will waddle along and do my daily things until either Autumn decides to be born or May 11 rolls around.

As of tomorrow only 25 days till the c-section!

Other Stuffs:

Well I didn’t really baby-sit my niece today since we all went to Dixie Crossroads for lunch. So it will be tomorrow.

Oooo let me tell you the food was AWSOME. I ordered one dozen fried shrimp and they gave me two dozen. Heh heh heh. mmmmmmmmmm Tasty!

Tomorrow I am making hot wings – I had a craving and my sis bought the stuff so we will munch down on them tomorrow afternoon. 😀

Third and last entry for today – I am headed to bed!

sorry bout the pain in your back, but hope everything goes good for you. maybe baby autumn will decide she wants out soon. *lol*

See how well Autumn listens… tell her to try to make her appearance before DH goes on his trip, so they’ll be forced to deliver her early! LOL

Augh, the day after Chris was born my hands and feet were HUMUNGOUS! Euck.

I love hot wings. Hanging out with guys in sports bars you learn to acquire a taste. I hope they decide to deliver early so your back can get well (not too early to be bad, but you know).

Sorry to hear about your back problems. You should have that checked out. I’m glad you had a good lunch, and were able to get your questions answered and know that those problems aren’t serious.

I am glad to hear that you are OK and Autumn is as well. Did you find out how many people can be in the operating room with you?

I really hope your dh will be there…that would be really sad if he can’t be. 🙁 At my last appointment I found out our little one is measuring a little small…I’ve been trying to look all over for info about that since I just hadn’t really considered it before!

I saw the first mean note you received (soon after you had started this diary). I just reported that mean note. I looked through all your entries, but I can’t find the 2nd mean note. I had reported the 3rd mean note the day I read your entry about it.

I was VERY swollen after kaylee…it did take about 10 days….that is one thing i am not looking forward too again..oh well..all in the name of love!

RYN: Yes you did…lol. I’m relieved now that at least I met the person that will be helping me through this you know? Not a big deal but I feel so much better now. I love the name Autumn – so jealous! My hubby won’t go for that. And I’m dreading swelling in hands and feet; I’m going to be in my 3rd trimester all summer. Should be interesting to see big feet in little sandals!

The fluid was pretty bad after they took Brandi, but it went away pretty quick.
