Scattered thoughts

Gosh, coming up with new entry titles is getting harder and harder to do…

Thank you for all the wonderful uplifting notes about how I am not ugly. 🙂 They really mean allot! I know that that person is probably just a kid or someone with very low self esteem themselves who try to make themselves feel better by putting others down. I feel sorry for them, really.

WOOT — UPS came today! I got a package from AngelBunny YEA. Some clothes that will get me through the rest of this pregnancy woo hoo! Thank you my dear friend, thank you! PS you have such nice handwriting I love it!

Tonight DH and I are going to take a tour of the hospital’s Birth Center. They only give tours the first Wednesday of the month. So as soon as he comes in the door we walk right out again. I need to remember to ask about how many people are allowed in the OR for the C-Section. Mom and Sis really want to be in there too.

Lunch with Moving On is set for MONDAY WOOT-WOOT-WOOT!

I wish I had money so DH would take me out to eat. We still have not had my birthday dinner yet. Sigh. Being broke is not fun.

Lists… my life has become nothing but a bunch of lists…. I make lists for everything now – lists for what is still needed for and to be done in Autumn’s room, grocery lists, lists of bills that need to be paid, chore lists in the house, lists for who I am getting gifts for, lists for what I need to bring to the hospital, lists for this lists for that.

A few people have asked about cord blood banking since my last entry. Here are some links that will help explain it better than I can:

UGH I am out of milk again. I am drinking more milk lately. I just purchased this half gallon over the weekend. I guess I should purchase a gallon at a time but I feel if I do then I would not drink it and it would go bad. I hate throwing food stuffs out.

Speaking of throwing things out – mom wanted me to keep the decorations from the shower cake. Why for? What am I going to do with them? They are tiny plastic pieces that will just take up room in a drawer and they will never get used again. I am trying to clean OUT clutter not gather more. And believe me – clearing out clutter is hard. My life has been built around clutter. I hate throwing things out – You never know when you may need it … I am getting better. I have two more rooms to tackle and de clutter. The two I am dreading the most, the bedroom and the Florida room. Once they are done then I can breathe freely.

I am hungry again. GADS I need to grocery shop. I guess I will do that this Friday. DH has a doctor appointment then we are going to Sam’s club to fill our gift membership his mom gave us for Christmas. I think it will be less expensive to shop there for Diapers…. Then head to the Wal-Mart Super Center on Beville for grocery shopping and maybe getting some small things needed for the baby.

I make my final payment to the OB/Gyn next week. WOOT. YEA that part is taken care of! I have my 2 week check up on Wednesday after 2 then I have an ultrasound the following week at 2pm. I thin I am now into once a week appointments – but I am not sure. I guess I find out after the Ultrasound. I hope they can give me photos of her again. It would really make my day.

Ok which is better – Dreft or Ivory Snow? Is there a fabric softener for baby’s clothes too?

Well I better get the floors swept before the dust bunnies start multiplying!

Fourth entry for today! – I may post another entry tonight about how the birth center tour went. Maybe but don’t hold your breath or you may turn blue!

I still have one of each thing that were on my shower cake with my oldest. They are in a baggy in my memory box of his baby stuff. I had to limit myself to one tote, cause I kept EVERYTHING.

Hey, I know these random notes can be annoying, but I’ll leave you one anyways, haha. One thing yu can do for entry titles is use song titles, that what I do. I hope your mom and sis *right?* can come see the c-section *I hope I remembered that right* haha. Good Luck. : ) Brightest Heart

Whichever is cheaper is better, he he! 🙂

When I had Meghan at that hospital, they only allowed Kevin to be in the room. Maybe it is different for each dr. My boss’s daughter had her daughter there with a csection and could have two people in there. So, maybe it is up to the dr? you also have to stay in the smaller room when you have a scheduled csection there. But, ALL of the rooms are nice. I am so jealous you get to have her there

They have a fridge that you can get ice cream and stuff out of and omg, the nurses are awesome too. It looks like a hotel. lol

Tell your mom that if she wants to save them then she can keep them at her house. She actually might like that idea, I don’t know.

OK so I can get the answer from the articles LOL. Random nasty noters can be so childish.

my mom always wanted me to keep everything (she retrieved Joe’s bandaids – from his first set of shots – from the garbage once saying “you can’t throw these away, they’re his first band aids!”) and I have to part with some of it now, because I’ve become a pack rat lol I always used Ivory Snow, only because that’s what my mom used. I like how Dreft smells though. I think the(C)

point of using a baby detergent is lost anyway ROFL even though I do it…the gentlest are the free and clear types, not the baby ones. But they smell so darn good. Mmmmm…*needs Dreft, is tired of Ivory Snow* ~ajaye

Hope everything goes ok with your appointment. I always liked Ivory Snow. Just my opinion. 🙂

My mom used Dreft with me, which was great. I have some kind of allergy to SOMETHING in certain detergents (we have no idea what it is), but Dreft was great and never gave me a rash as a baby.

Actually I used Wool Light for all my kids’ stuff when they were babies and downy free.. the woollight worked great when you needed cool water for the colors and it really does work great on stains. A lot of my friends used Dreft, but only for the first month or so cause of the expense. I always washed the baby clothes separately from any others till they were about 6 months or so old. Hugs.

you’re most welcome my dear and that was my messy writing!!! The hospital tour will make it just that little bit more real for you, at least it did for me xxx

I’ve been doing nothing but making lists, too, it seems. I figure that if I write everything down on a list, it will eventually get done and not forgotten… But if I keep making lists, I will never get anything done that needs to be done because I’m always making lists! LoL… such a dilemma.

i saw a note you left on Daisy Full’s diary about living in Michigan way back when. I live there too, grew up in Utica 🙂

Thanks for the links! They were helpful. Dreft or Ivory Snow? Sorry, I’m afraid I don’t know what they are. What are dust bunnies? I know what you mean about lists. I depend on lists to get things done myself. The mean noter may have been jealous, too. That is not the right way to make themselves feel good. I’m glad we were able to help.

Dust bunnies-how sweet!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a mean note, but then my diary is signed notes so maybe the people that think mean things about me keep it to themselves. Oh well. That noter probably just randomed through and left crap because he/she could. 😛 I have lists for everything. But I’ve always been that way. I just made a grocery list this morning and we won’t go shopping for another week *laughs*

Dreft is the most used I think, but I’m sure Ivory Snow smells better! ;oD
