Ok Back from the Doctor
Pelvic showed old blood – she said it may have started bleeding early in the morning what I had seen was what had pooled in the vagina while I was sleeping. The Cervix was thick and she did not see any heavy bleeding from it. Basically all she saw was the old blood. But she wanted an ultrasound done to see if the placenta was over the cervix and if a small part had lifted up and caused the bleeding.
She did a doppler on my tummy and we heard the babies heartbeat. Good sign!
Ultrasound showed the placenta up pretty high in the uterus. So the bleeding did not come from the placenta being over the cervix. The US DID show a small area of bleeding though they do not know what is causing it.
I am on rest until my scheduled appointment next Friday when they will see how I am doing. She said I may have some more spotting but not to be concerned unless it is heavy or bright red.
Baby was doing fine and moving. I have new Ultrasound pics to post so give me a little bit and I will have them up.
I am feeling much relieved. I was hysterical this morning.
Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.
I love you all very much,
Dakota

Oh I am sorry that would have made me hysterical too. My friend had spotting a few days ago, she is 5 months and a bit along. It turns out it is from a Urinary Tract Infection she never knew she had. *phew* I wish you the best of luck.

This is wonderful news! I’m so glad you are doing well. I’ve heard that it’s not uncommon or problematic for some women to have light bleeding for several months during their pregnancy. It’s good that you are following up though and taking good care of yourself.

I would love to see pics of your house! We looked at this OLD house before ours… it was crazy. The entire bathroom was tile, black and avocado green, the kitchen still had the original stove from the 1930s that was surrounded by brick… there was a door with very steep stairs from the kitchen to the cellar, and the only plugs for electricity were on the lights on the walls! Like you’d have to

take your TV power cord and stretch it almost up towards the ceiling and plug it into the light! I was like “Um Rocky we can’t live here” but it was really cool to see how people used to build houses.

I hope all is well with you today. Take care. Blessings.
