Mattress

I thought mattresses were supposed to last 10 years. Ours lasted less than 7.

We wore out our bed! LMAO too funny! And I am just now pregnant for the first time???

Anyway – our mattress is so bad you can feel all the springs. It is worse now that I am pregnant. I had put a comforter under the waffle foam pad with another comforter on top of that with the sheet on the very top. Still I could feel the springs.

SOOOO we decided to put the Coleman inflatable air mattress on top. This is the mattress we bought for camping last year that we used once. we inflated it and it had a hole in it. So we patched it and it seemed to work great. Until 2 am this morning when it was deflated again. So we pumped it up and now we are on a quest to find the invisible leak.

Why can’t it be easy?

LoL that’s so funny that you wore out your bed, yet it’s very much not funny because beds are expensive!! I could NOT get Yahoo Messenger to install. It was hanging halfway through installation. I really think it doesn’t like being on the same computer as Trillian. I’ll try again tomorrow! =)

Hey, put your air mattress on top of a pillow top mattress and when you are 8 months pregnant you will need a hi-lo to get your body to bed. I almost need a ladder. It is good exercise. Really, it isn’t that you wore it out, it was probably just a cheap mattress. You WERE newly weds when you got it. well, maybe you did wear it out.

haha, people suggest putting it in water and seeing where the bubbles came from but that seems like a huge hassle. And ours lasted less than 7 too, it was under warranty and they wouldn’t cover it because of “abuse” We abused our bed in a lot of fun ways 😉

I’ve had one of those things deflate on me in the middle of the night, it sucks! xxx

The best thing I’ve ever done is to buy a Select Comfort Air Bed. I have chronic back pain, and this bed is a God-send. And they’re guaranteed for twenty years. I highly advise you to check it out. ~/;o)
