Today I am feeling….
Very tired and my back hurts. Well I have back problems anyway due to that darn car accident in 2000 which not only gave me Fibromyalgia but a torn disk at L5 and Migrane headaches. AND DERN IT ALL — I CANNOT TAKE MY MEDS!!!!!!
I am stiff and sore all over. Stupid Fibro. This is not going to be a smooth pregnancy I can tell. Oh well, I was delt this hand in life so I must play it out.
I see my Neurologist tomorrow and I will let him know about my pregnancy. Maybe he has some suggestions for me. Since I only see him for my med checks now, I guess I will not have to go see him till after the baby is born and I am done nursing. That will save me about $125 bucks every three months.
I love my job, but I really wish I could find a job I could do from my house so I can stay home with the baby. I think having the personnel ministry chair ask me how much time I planned to take really shook me.
I just finished reading Your Pregnancy After 35. It has a lot of good info. LOL I read it in one day. That and two magazines.

Ever since my husband and I decided to try for a baby, my doctor told me to stay off all pain meds too. Paracetamol is the only thing I can take, which is hard when you’ve got a migraine and your muscles are so tense you can barely move. Hang in there!

what is it about you and I? I just pulled my back out doing something stupid like moving, it hurts like hell. That and the cat just threw up, out of sympathy I joined her. Let that be the last of the vomiting xxx

I didn’t know they had a book like that. I was thinking of starting a group for mums of infants over 35. I listen to some of my 20 something mum friends and think they are twits. (but you didn’t hear me say that…) ryn. lol! Yes cats really do look like aliens when you do THAT!

Are there alternatives to your meds, such as acupuncture, available to you during pregnancy? Definitely get all your doctors in sync so they can treat your whole self. Hugz,
