Pictures and update
Dear Diary,
It’s been a busy month so far especially in school with my student teacher. She is awesome and for 22 she really knows her stuff. I don’t have to tell her much as she anticipates much of everything. Her lessons are very good and meets state standards. I hope she can take my place when I leave. She gets along with everyone and the kids like her. She is very good with the children!!
We had snow recently and the snowfall was gorgeous!
This is where I stop for coffee every morning. I took these shots with my cell phone because it was so beautiful! I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
All the trees were covered with a light coating of snow. EVERYTHING was white and it really uplifted your spirit. I was on my way to school with a delayed opening.
This is the shop where I get the coffee. The owner/chef is really a very nice woman and it is nice to be able to say hello and chat in the morning for a bit. Her coffee is great.
Today I really didn’t do much. I sorted through some things because this summer I am going to have to start getting things ready to move. A year will go by fast. While going through some pictures I came across some of my childhood pictures. I laughed and barely remember them but I do. It brought back some good memories.
This is me at 3 months LOL
I loved this dress and wow I had socks to match. This was my 6th birthday. I was in kindergarten and was having my friends come over for a party. I was so excited!
Here I was in 6th grade and this was my confirmation day. I had the chicken pox, wore my sister’s dress and felt like hell but I managed to smile. I made it through confirmation and into bed I went.
LOL a little fuzzy but this is me in my favorite attire….my cowboy stuff. I refused to take it off. My older sister is at my side convincing me that it was fun to get your picture taken. I disagreed!!
Well tomorrow morning I am going to walk with a friend at Bodman and then I want to go look for a rocker/recliner so I can relax at night instead of laying on the couch.
Monday I have to observe my student teacher but I already know she will do very well. Thursday I am putting on a pancake breakfast for the faculty and will be cooking pancakes for everyone in the morning. Later that afternoon my student teacher will be observed by HER supervisor.
My supervisor is retiring this year and I am going next. It’s a really changing time in my life right now..but it feels right.
Peace,
LYB
I love the pictures! They actually remind me a lot of some of my own childhood pictures…. the dresses, the hair styles, the cowboy outfit! The snow pictures are just gorgeous.

Here’s hoping this note will save! Your snow pictures look like a Christmas card. Here, our snow is at the dirty stage. The coffee place is neat. It looks like it has lots of character. As for the changes, you know that someone is coming into the profession that is good. It is like the circle of life thing because your good but you are ready to retire.

Those are very pretty snow pictures and you looked like you even when you were three months old.
