Halloween with pics

Dear Diary,
I haven’t felt much like writing these days.  I’ve been busy with work and too tired upon returning home to write anything.
School is going ok, but for some odd reason or another we do attract strange administrators.  Our new principal is no exception to this rule, but fortunately I am not a target and just stay out of the way.  It works!
We did have a more festive Halloween including a parade that was outdoors.  The kids loved it and they were very well behaved.  I dressed up like one of our teachers who is a really nice guy.  He let his hair grow out and he looks really funny sometimes.  He got a kick out of my costume.

He played basketball with UNC as you can see.  He is very tall.

Kinders drawing a pumpkin….cute

more kinders climbing all about.

our vice principal dress as a web

Our librarian LOL

The parade…first grade

Our Science teacher

Third Grade….teacher was great!
After the parade the kids had a party then it was time to go home.
I drove to Cookiepuss’s house and helped give out candy.  The kids were cute and her neighbor did a fantastic job decorating and animating the front yard.  Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture, but I did get one of Cookiepuss.

Funny.
Well all is well, I am doing very well and have gotten back to jogging.  I ran my first 5 miles on Saturday and hope to keep it up during the cold winter months.  The cold is upon us now and it will be mighty cold when I leave for Upper State New York this Friday afternoon.  I am going back up to the Peaceweavers for a peace retreat.
Blessings and Peace,
LYB

Looks like too much fun to me..LOL… BIG HUGS

We aren’t allowed to celebrate Halloween at our school due to being Catholic. We had a movie afternoon and snacks. Nobody complained. My children were allowed to dress up at their schools in the afternoon. This was due to being in public schools. It sure looks fun at your school. It would keep the moral up for sure.
