Friendship

People will say,”Be true to yourself”

And thats correct, no one can deny;

But there is a nobler side of life

And thats where Friendship lies.

To be a friend is a higher aim,

For it makes many demands on us,

Friendship means that we must share,

And be forgiving, it means that we must trust.

Friendship relies on virtues

That are true from begining to end.

We cannot expect to keep our friends,

If we are dishonest with them.

Friendship is a gift, It given right,

It will come back to us in return.

If we can be true to a friend,

Then Friendship’s pleasure is truely earned
