Obama is no JFK
I read an article in the Rolling Stone from a son of Robert Kennedy, relating what he knew about JFK. H said JFK wanted peace at all cost, to end the Cold War, and he bypassed the pro-War factions in government such as the Pentagon, and brought about the first Atomic Atmospheric Test Ban Treaty, even though the military was in no mood to do so. He was a man of peace, and probably died because of it.
Obama on the other hand, runs America by just giving a free hand to the Military and the CIA to ‘do what they think is right’. Innocent and maybe guilty people get blown to bits, without any form of trial. Our status as a just power is getting worse by the minute.
Does the average American care? Of course not. As long as the bad people do not blow me up, we are all ok….

On the other hand, a lot more innocent people died under the reign of Bush the II. I am pretty sure the drone thing is going to come back to bite future presidents. What are they going to say when China starts taking out expatriated dissidents in the Americas using drones? Would the Monroe Doctrine trump the Obama doctrine which apparently says it’s OK to toast terrorists and their familiesand neighbors anywhere in the world? To hear China talk, every Uighur is a terrorist. Wow, Chrome didn’t flag Uighur as a typo. That’s very anti-Chinese of Google. I mean they flag Palin as a typo. But Uighur is on their list of OK words.

JFK is no JFK. Since he was assassinated, everyone immortalizes him in the amazing things he did without realizing he was a womanizing sociopath who made a lot of mistakes in his short presidencyÂ… I don’t give any president the time of day.

Obama has not lived up to expectations, but on his worst day he would still be a better President than McCain or Romney would have been on their best. Just imagine the crap that congress would have tried to pass if they had the White House? While I’m willing to admit things could be better, they could have also been much, much worse. Later,
