Rapture in your Mind?

The bible ends when the AntiChrist is defeated and a 1000 year peace starts. Jesus comes back, and he brings peace. Jesus has been back for 2000 years since his walks on earth have been described in the bible and countless books after, he is in all of us. Islam considers Jesus a vital prophet. The Christians are afraid of the AntiChrist, but that was clearly Hitler. He killed millions to get his point acrosss, his solders had ‘God With Us’ on their belts. And as a result counter killing happened. But wait, we still kill. We still have not overcome this urge. "You hurt me so I kill you", is that why we do it? We used to put Al Quaeda prisoner in prisons, which is better than killing them. It was an improvement over just killing everyone. But now the US is going dark and just uses the world as a shooting gallery with its drones, so convenient. People are not weeds that have to be eradicated. Chistians are awaiting the Rapture, but all we are waiting for is the overcoming of our own urges. Hell is the eternal realization we could have done better, recalling our sins etc, it is our reputation that we can not escape. The metaphor of hell is a last ditch effort to force people to be good. But you do what you set your mind on.

So who have you killed today? Luckily I am not a President.   

I recall when Arnold Schwarzenegger was Governor, he signed off on executing a prisoner at San Quentin. I went there as a protestor, even put a sticker on the prison gates as my act of violence. To no avail. I am no community organizer. Anyway, the laws allow it so why not eh? Arnold, did you think leadership was just another day at the movies? You could have said NO, that option is part of our laws. But that is only for girlie men eh?

Maybe the only way to make the world pay attention is to go on a hunger strike for world peace. Be like Jesus, willing to die for the cause. Just like soldiers I guess, they also fight for peace.
