March of the Monkeys

Saw Revenge of the Sith.  Yoda was awesome as usual.  Hayden Christensen has very pretty abs.  I think Padme should have left Anakin for Obi-Wan.  I would have.  "Obi-Wan, Anakin is my husband and father of my child twins, but I don’t care!  I should have married you."  *smooch smooch* 

Oh shut up.  I’m a goof.

Ok, now, I have talked to someone about the backwoods town I live in and how there are some people here who happen to be the ones Webster talked to when he defined REDNECK in his dictionary.  I went to a wedding on Saturday afternoon where the bride came in on a bale of hay perched on the back of a John Deere tractor.  Am I kidding?  No, I am not.  Her groom’s cake was a plastic John Deere toy truck pulling a cake that looked like a load of hay with little chickens and pigs on it.  Her wedding cake topper was a pair of cows in wedding dress and tux in a golf cart.  Mmhmm.  Interesting.

STILL want to have my Halloween wedding where everyone comes in costume with the exception of the wedding party (who get to change into their costumes for the reception).  I think it would be fun.

Still, it was a wedding and my wedding tradition includes catching the bouquet at every wedding I’ve attended since 2000.  I almost caught it this time but LUCKILY my fingers hit it and it bounced off of them and to the girl next to me.  Maybe that’s a good thing.  Woohoo!  No bouquet.  But I did get a small daisy that I wore in my short short hair for the rest of the evening.

Do I like my short short hair?  Well, it’s different.  I didn’t get the itty-bitty bangs like Amelie but I did get the rest of the haircut.  See, I have this gigantic head.  No, seriously.  So, compared to little Audrey Tautou my head looks like someone put Amelie’s hair on a honeydew melon.  BUT it’s a helluva lot cooler and I’m enjoying it.  Plus, my hairdresser said she liked me so much that when she starts trying out funky colors this summer she’s going to give me purple streaks for free.  Woo hoo.  I’d probably have it for a week before ABBE made me dye it black again but it would be fun while it lasted.

*yawn*  Didn’t sleep well last night.  Kept having nightmares about being chased.  Blegh.

I might have to buy a little Obi-Wan action figure.  He’ll join my Frodo, Merry, Pippin, Sam and Bilbo figures.  Oh, and of course my Harry Potter, Remus Lupin, and Werewolf figures.  And I can’t forget my Sabrina the Teenage Witch Barbie Dolls (Bought solely for the Salem the Cat figure… because I’m a dork like that.  Speaking of being a dork:  What did I name the black cat that showed up at our barn?  SALEM … because Salem is awesome.)  =oP 

Well, I’m going now.  I have a bulletin board to finish.
