Viva Las Vegas

Who wants to see pictures of my new puppy?  Good, cause here he is.  =o)  His name is Vegas (My sister has been on a CSI kick lately {Eh, who am I to deny her?  It’s got George Eads in it!} so when given the opportunity to name the puppy it was either Grissom or Vegas – everyone in the family jumped at Vegas)  So anyway… he’s a German Shorthaired Pointer and he loves me.  No, really – he jumps up and down and wags that little tail as hard as he can when he sees me.  He doesn’t do that for anyone else.   

Edited to Add:  The big German Shepherd is Lady – she and Vegas get along famously.  Unfortunately, Rocko, our cocker, hates Vegas with a fiery passion.  Also: In the first picture he is NOT pooping into my cat slipper.  He is merely sitting on the opening for the foot and the shadow kinda looks like poop.

As for me?  Not too much going on still.  I’m working the Information table at the Peach Blossom festival this weekend – something I haven’t done in two years.  It should be fun though.  I get a free t-shirt or a free dance ticket out of it so… at least there’s that.  =)

I’m going to be extra busy next week as my co-worker decided to take Spring Break week off.  Fark.  Of course, he doesn’t think about the fact that the kids will be out of school ALSO it’s Masters week so we’re going to be so busy we’re not going to be able to walk straight much less THINK straight.  Gah.  There will only be two of us working Monday through Friday.  Pleh.  Two people to handle the more than 50 kids we get in here a day during spring break.

Expect many: I hate children and I’m never having one ever – entries next week.  Mmhmm.

Well I suppose I should be off.  Books to shelve.  Monkeys to patrol.
