Do what you need to, brother.

April 10, 2008

I found you on random and I have to say, as a woman, I tend to agree with you. I am older than you but I remember when I was that age. I don’t like what she said to you. It sounds condensending and like someone who wants to keep all of her options open. JMO though. Good luck!

If you are trying to establish a healthy friendship with her, you may need to back off a bit and give her the space she asked for. Friends may not like what the other person is doing, yet they still support and love that person and are there for them if things do or don’t work out as planned. Do you truly believe it’s possible to be friends with her? I think it’s very difficult when one personhas stronger feelings than the other person. You end up fighting with yourself and your feelings. Just things to think about.

RYN: I didn’t realize things had changed in your relationship in the last couple of weeks. That would certainly have been a shock and a quick change of direction for your relationship. Thanks for explaining. I will continue to pray for both of you. =)
