She caught me singing it.

There’s been 2 times in my life where someone liked what I was listening to in my car enough to make a gesture or yell something, yelling being the one that happened tonight, but since my music was so loud all I heard from this girl was, well yelling, but I can make it out kind of in my head to say “Coldplay Rock’s!” and then the light turned green, and I was so confused and I made a weird look with my face, and totally messed up the moment.

She was pretty too. And obviously liked Coldplay.

The other time was a gesture, and I messed that one up too. It was Weezer’s “Surf Rock America” I think, and this was 2 years ago summer-time, and they gestured, and I acted cool.

Sigh. But at least that one was a guy, so I didn’t feel too stupid about it.

(I wouldn’t have been playing Coldplay at that exact moment at that exact intersection if not for me staying longer at my mom’s with my “relatives”. I guess I was just depressed, so I started throwing the ball to the little girl, and she went crazy laughing. And she threw it back and so on and so on. She was cute. I guess that’s why babies are good. I forget to realize that everything is day by day, as a worker at Wal-Mart always tells me, and I just over think things so much.)

That girl probably thought I was dick. But she’ll always remember the dick who loved Coldplay.
