Sacrifice, not love. Not yet.

Last night I saw “The Passion of the Christ” and wasn’t let down.

Wasn’t dissapointed.

(Artistically, too much slo-mo, too much. And the end reminded me of an action film. “The Christ gets up. He gonna kill the mo-fo’s who did this to him.” I did like it, though.)

The best thing: The actual crucifiction was amazing. The devil was portrayed well, the demons etc. (Really well.) And I loved the flashbacks.

So really the whole movie.

The worst thing: the movie’s over, we’re all walking out, a depressed face on Every One I See, and as we enter the lobby, as if planned by God himself:

“Let the rain fall down! (And wake my dreams.)”

Yeah. Hillary Duff. Yeah.

(Smile, God loves you, don’t you see it?)
