Hey,

Well I suppose this is going to come out of the blue, but I just wanted to write to let you in on two bits of information:

#1- Punch Drunk Love is my favorite films PTA film…..I loved it.

#2- Phantom Planet is officially one of my favorite bands. I cannot stop listening to them.

I suppose listening to Phantom Planet like crazy, and seeing that movie recently made me think about good ‘ol Jon Strong.

I dont know why we stopped talking, I am not sure if you got annoyed with each other, or just stopped talking, or ‘ended’ on bad terms, but I just wanted to write, because leaving ‘home’ you tend to think of ‘”memories past”, and I just wanted to say Thanks Jon . Thanks for being there, cause you were there….alot. And I dont think either of us noticed it. Thanks for sticking by my side when I was in that lousy hospital bed. Thanks for sticking up for me when people have talked bad (I am sure there have been at least a few times), and I forgive you for all the times you talked bad about me (as I hope you will do in my case). Thanks Jon for making me laugh so many times, especially when we ganged up on everyone else, we were quite the unstoppable force.

I must admit (with shame) that I have regrets concerning you. I am sorry we never got to work on a film together. I would have loved it. no matter how many times you and I worked on something with LHTC, some dingy play…..we never got the chance to argue our creative ideas and meet each other half way on something that I am sure would be great.

I guess I was jealous of your closeness with James so that is why I was hostile with you alot, and you always had some problem with me, some sort of competition of your own (or so I have always felt), and the combination of these two things really prevented us from alot. But I have to be honest Jon, I think just a small, but very important, piece of me will always be your friend (i know this is more Capra-esque, than PTA-like but please bare with me), so if you ever need anything (even a place to stay in NY), you know the screen name, and the email address. Maybe I’ll hear from you. probably not soon though.
