Got a phone call yesterday

 
 
 
From the kid’s Godmother, her husband Larry is in the hospital with huge heart issues. He has a congenital heart defect, and his aorta is enlarged, he was filling up with fluid. One of his valves is totally blocked and they will have to do a bypass, but even after wards he will need a ventricular assist to give his heart time to heal. He is also having some memory loss issues, one of the problems of heart problems is that it is the cause of dementia, so we are praying that it is only temporary. I’m waiting to see when the surgery is next week. Planning on going down to sit with Diane for a while. Wouldn’t want to sit there by myself in her shoes and won’t let her. I’m so sad, Larry has grown and changed over the  18 years I’ve known him and I don’t want to see him lose his memory or die. He would have been dead if he had let it go on much longer.
