Ah, yeah – earthquakes. I went through the Loma Prieta Earthquake (the big one in 1989 that leveled huge chunks of NorCal, including collapsing the Bay Bridge). That one wasn’t so fun. But the ‘quakes where the ground moves and things shake for a minute or two, they make me grin. Even if I have to put a few books back on my case or steady a light fixture, it’s still kinda cool. 🙂
