I woke up feeling like utter crap. I could have pushed through it, but I was just NOT looking forward to the effort I would need to put forth for this. I tried doing a single set of pull-ups this morning, and managed FIVE. Whether it’s allergies, the weather, or a bug I picked up from the girl last weekend, I felt terrible. I didn’t start feeling myself until around 4/5 PM. That’s when I decided to just do the stripped down workout after work.

Still have a lingering dry cough, though.

Was really sucking wind during the first pairing. Didn’t have time to latently rest like I normally do, as I was short on time. Just kind of pushed through. I was dripping sweat by the last pairing. I’d dry my face off with my wife-beater or a paper towel, and by the end of the next set, I’d be back to dripping again. This is why I stayed away from any sort of physical activity as a child; I sweat.

Didn’t have time for elliptical or treadmilling, but this will allow me to get in two workouts this week. Maybe I’ll do some energy systems stuff tomorrow.
