After the third rep at 210, I recognized that my depth was crap. I simply didn’t feel strong in the hole. I felt completely mentally psyched out. I just didn’t feel like I could do it. Disheartening, but repeating 210 lbs ad nauseum is getting me nowhere. I’m going to start back at 185 lbs and work my way back up SLOWLY. Dropping back the weight, huge difference. I should feel in control of the weight, not feel like I’m getting crushed.

Even if I get nowhere, I’m going to keep at this. If only so I can say I tried.

Got the last rep for pressing at 95 lbs. Felt pretty solid, too. I was getting into a really good groove of inhaling, resting the bar in the semi-front squat catch position, and creating a really solid base of support to press from. (I say semi, because while the weight was resting on my shoulders, my elbows weren’t horizontal. I simply don’t feel strong flaring out my elbows that much.)

Dropped my power cleans back to 115 lbs. I could continue messing up with 135 lbs, but my form is off. I’ll use this weight for another session or two to work on my form.

Ryn: Oh, Amalapuram? That’s in the state I used to live in before I came here. As far as Indian cuisine goes, it’s a pity you haven’t had much to eat! I LOVE Indian food. Ha ha, maybe I’ll cook you some. And yes, of course, Indian food tastes best in India. 😀 Anyways, if you want to know anything at all about India, feel free to ask (slip in one or two about other stuff as well! :P)!

Ryn: Urgh. 😛 Got MSN?
