Sunday Assessment for 1-23-11

Wants:

Play Zelda: Twilight Princess
Be on time for class.
Don’t waffle on my calc homework.
Get enough sleep.

Needs:

Change oil in car. Yeah. Still.

What I’ve accomplished:

Watched Revenge of the Sith with the girl.
Played Battlefront and Twilight Princess.
Took the tree down.

My weekly routine is going to be a bit different now. Just need to keep my head above water. Middle of the week is pretty much where I recharge.

I’m out of bananas, and the damned grocery store closed at 7 PM today. Damn it. I’ll have to get some tomorrow on the way back from class, but before work.

Not sure what else to say.

You don’t love your car.

ryn: Show her you love her with fresh oil and a shiny new filter. Working on cars is such a pain. Stuff is too tight, you can’t reach things, if you can reach it, there’s no room to get leverage to be effective. The filter placement on my altima is such that you either have to remove a front tire or turn the wheel all the way to the left to even reach it. It was so much easier on myold car. I just take my own oil and filter to the dealership and they change it for the cost of labor, about ten dollars. I understand your reluctance to let someone else work on your car. NTB changed the oil for one of my friends and didn’t put the bolt back in the pan so it all drained out; great way to blow up an engine.
